Daisy Chain Crafts is based in the beautiful village of Greenane, Co. Wicklow. My childhood was spent in roaming fields and woodlands with our deerhound; cycling round the country lanes with my sister; or riding on the beach on my mother's Haflinger pony. After ten years in London studying for a BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology and a PhD in Clinical Biochemistry, I have returned to a life in the countryside with my husband and four children, in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. Inspired by my love of nature, Daisy Chain Crafts was created. The colours of the flowers, trees, seas and skies inspire my jewellery which is created from semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, Myuki Delica glass seed beads and sterling silver or natural brass. The scents evoked by the flowers, woodland, forests and seas are the inspiration for my soaps all of which are made by hand using 100% natural ingredients.
