Born in Dublin in the 1960s, Yvonne's talent for knitting and crochet was nurtured by both her Mother and Grandmother during her childhood years. As a teenager and student, Yvonne began to design and knit for family and friends earning some college cash. During the 90's Yvonne then worked professionally as a Public Relations Consultant in London, Northern Ireland and Dublin. In 1999, following studies at the Grafton Academy of Design, Yvonne first started her own knitwear business designing bespoke knitwear clothing. Amongst Yvonne's customers back then was Holywood actor Colin Farrell. Yvonne continued to design bespoke clothing for customers and to work part-time. Following redundancy in 2009, Yvonne returned again to her love for knitting & crochet to create her unique collection of by Yvonne hand-crafted jewellery and bags.
