Based in the West of Ireland, Eithne Joyce, the artist behind Blueprints is inspried by the contrasting landscapes in her life. The north Galway farm where she currently lives and scenic Connemara where she spent her childhood. Eithne's technique begins by drawing with ink directly onto the canvas and then, by both layering up and stripping back, her landscapes emerge A mixture of reality and memory. They are quiet, calm, delicate paintings that are as much about what is left out as what is revealed.
